Description We are in search of an Accountant to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. The primary function of this role involves hands-on accounting tasks such as reconciliations, journal entries and invoicing. Responsibilities: • Conduct month-end closing activities, ensuring the accuracy of all financial records. • Execute account reconciliations, including bank and balance sheet reconciliations, to maintain financial accuracy. • Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger as part of routine accounting tasks. • Manage inventory records and perform related accounting tasks as necessary. • Oversee the work of AP and AR specialists, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all transactions. • Prepare for an upcoming audit, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date. • Communicate with our HQ, updating our systems as necessary for seamless information transfer. • Leverage Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis. • No further tasks or responsibilities are required beyond this list. Requirements • Must hold a minimum of 2+ years of experience in an accounting role • Proficient in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations • Experience working with a General Ledger and making Journal Entries • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is necessary • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred, but will also look at Associates Degree • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively • Must comply with all company policies and procedures • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
