Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant for a Milwaukee, WI area organization. The ideal candidate will excel in managing financial records, ensuring accuracy, and supporting the smooth operation of accounting processes. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and a commitment to delivering high-quality financial reporting. Responsibilities: • Perform account reconciliations to ensure financial data accuracy and resolve discrepancies. • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and payment tracking. • Process invoices and ensure timely and accurate billing for clients and vendors. • Enter financial data into accounting systems and maintain organized records. • Utilize Microsoft Excel to create, update, and analyze financial reports. • Work with QuickBooks to manage transactions and generate financial statements. • Monitor and verify financial documents for compliance with company policies and regulations. • Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting workflows and improve efficiency. • Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports. Requirements • Proven experience in accounting, including account reconciliation and financial reporting. • Proficiency in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes. • Strong skills in invoice processing and billing operations. • Familiarity with using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software. • Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle data entry with accuracy. • Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines. • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment.
