Responsibilities: • Perform detailed account reconciliations, including bank and balance sheet reconciliations, to ensure accurate financial reporting. • Manage and maintain general ledger activities, ensuring all entries are properly recorded and documented. • Prepare and post journal entries as part of the month-end close process. • Collaborate with the Director of Finance to analyze financial data and provide insights for decision-making. • Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills to create and maintain financial reports and spreadsheets. • Work with financial systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP to streamline processes and ensure efficiency. • Assist in audits by providing accurate records and documentation as needed. • Monitor and ensure compliance with financial regulations and organizational policies. • Support the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts. • Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration. Requirements The ideal candidate will have strong excel and general ledger. 3+ years public/private or straight public experience.
