Accounting Manager
Description A well-established organization is seeking an Interim Senior Corporate Accounting Manager with an immediate start to lead their corporate accounting function immediately. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in Oracle Fusion. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to operational excellence and make a meaningful impact. The Opportunity: This interim role, reporting to the Corporate Controller, will lead a dynamic Corporate Accounting Team in a fast-paced environment. You’ll play a critical role as a business partner across multiple departments. This position requires a hands-on, detail-oriented leader with exceptional organizational skills and a drive to implement process improvements. Key Responsibilities: + Maintain a strong operational and accounting control environment to safeguard assets, improve processes, and mitigate risk. + Manage the monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. + Drive process improvement and automation initiatives to streamline operations and enhance internal control quality. + Oversee SOX compliance and update documentation to keep pace with regulatory and operational changes. + Review and manage reconciliations, journal entries, intercompany, and complex financial analysis to maintain a clean and auditable ledger. + Lead, mentor, and develop team members to foster a high-performance culture. + Provide ad hoc financial insights and support for varied projects as required. Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or CPA equivalent is required. + Minimum 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting and leadership roles, or 4+ years in a public accounting environment. + Expertise in US GAAP, SOX compliance, and process improvement is essential. + Proven experience working with publicly traded companies and managing external/internal audit requirements. + Advanced skills in Oracle Fusion and Microsoft Excel (complex data handling, tables, and lookups). + Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments and lead diverse teams. + Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
