Job Description
We are seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our team and contribute to our financial transformation efforts. This newly created role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team environment, where you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating financial activities.
ResponsibilitiesAssist with budget and forecasting processes, including monthly rolling forecasts, annual budgets, and 5-year plans.Develop financial models and prepare projections.Assist with monthly closing activities such as calendars, checklists, system journal postings, and journal entries.Prepare consolidated monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports.Conduct financial statement analysis and key account reconciliation.Drive process changes and simplify repetitive reporting activities through automation.Read, interpret, and implement changes in U.S. GAAP, ensuring compliance with legal guidelines and established accounting principles.Utilize ERP systems and demonstrate intermediate MS Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas.Provide backup support for accounts receivable and accounts payable functions as required.Essential SkillsProficiency in accounting, general ledger, finance, financial statement analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.Experience in financial modeling and month-end processes.Working knowledge of ERP systems.Intermediate skills in MS Excel, including pivot tables and complex formulas.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to coordinate monthly and annual closings, prepare monthly forecasts, and other analytical schedules.Work Environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
