Accounts Payable Clerk
Olsten Staffing is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk. The Accounts Payable Clerk helps manage all forms of financial accounts within the company. The clerk is expected to keep accurate records of accounts payable, ensuring that invoices are paid where necessary. They must provide efficient and professional support to the Management Staff. They are responsible for all their own clerical duties. May report to multiple managers and must be able to perform with minimal direct supervision. **DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Process all required documents involved in posting invoices and issuing/denying credits. + Look for and provide solutions for accounting irregularities within statements, invoices, receipts, and inventory issues. + Maintain and reconcile credit card receipts and statements. + Reconcile vendor accounts. + Work with vendors on invoice discrepancies. + Process customer credits for returned products. + File small parcel claims with FedEx for damaged product. + Compile and process data. Generate and prepare documents as requested. + Accurately enter all necessary items into NAV in a timely manner. + Compile, copy, scan, sort and file documents. + Compile and process data. Generate and prepare documents as requested. + Other duties as assigned **SKILLS AND ABILITIES:** + 1-3 years of general accounting experience preferred. + Self-starter able to function effectively in a fast-paced growing company and adapt to change. + Deadline-driven with excellent time management ability. + Ability to work independently or in group settings. + Excellent attention to detail. + Excellent math and research skills + Flexible and able to multi-task. + Ability to maintain confidentiality. + Superb time management and organization skills. + Strong computer skills with an emphasis in typing, Microsoft Word and Excel. + Proficiency with 10-key typing and data entry. + Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, vendors and customers. + Able to work overtime as needed. + Able to report to work on time each workday. + Must have a positive attitude and strong work ethics.
