Job Description

The Accounts Payable Manager role will sit in office in Santa Ana, CA and is responsible for the overall Accounts Payable workstream to ensure Accounts Payable policies and procedures are consistently adhered to and to ensure complete, accurate and timely processing of vendor/supplier invoices and payments in accordance with contracted payment terms.

The role is responsible for leading the Accounts Payable team and ensuring related processes and procedures are well governed, effective, scalable and adaptable to the changing requirements of the business. The role also collaborates with the Accounts Payable Team with multiple direct reports to drive best practices, standardization and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, schedule and direct the accounts payable and disbursement function.Manage the completion of ACH/check/wire/credit card payment runs.Manage accounts payable’s monthly close process and ensure that all available payables are processed promptly.Work with FP&A for cash forecasting.Develop metrics and reporting designed to emphasize transparency and productivity.Lead, develop, and mentor the AP team to support the company’s accelerated growth.Drive process improvements around the payables process and continuously strengthen our controls.Provide quality customer service to both internal and external groups, ensuring all disputes and inquiries are resolved.Manage the 1099 process.Meet various daily, monthly and quarterly deadlines (including reconciliations).Assist with audit requests.All other duties as assigned

QualificationsBachelor’s Degree preferred, but not requiredExperience with inventory preferred, but not requiredMinimum of 5 years of experience with full cycle Accounts Payable, with at least 2 years in a supervisory roleTechnical and functional knowledge of operating in various ERP/Accounting systems preferred, but not requiredSelf-motivated with the ability to manage multiple deadlinesProvide clear and concise communication to various levels of the organizationSuperior interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization and external vendorsProven ability to manage direct reports and build cohesive teamsExcellent organizational skills and a strong ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentAbility to operate efficiently and professionally under pressure and meet deadlinesDetail-oriented (accuracy is a must)Proficient in Microsoft Office software with high proficiency in ExcelProficient with Adobe Acrobat PROContinuous improvement mindsetCommitment to adhering to and promoting safe workplace practice.

Compensation:  $105-125K + 10% AIP Bonus

The base pay offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
