Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will handle a variety of tasks related to financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. The position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: • Process accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper coding and adherence to company procedures. • Utilize accounting software systems, such as Oracle, to manage and track financial transactions. • Perform account coding and accrual accounting tasks to maintain accurate financial records. • Review and resolve discrepancies in invoices, purchase orders, and vendor statements. • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to address payment inquiries and ensure timely processing. • Conduct audits of financial data to verify accuracy and compliance with regulations. • Manage automated clearing house (ACH) transactions and other payment methods. • Assist in implementing and optimizing accounts payable processes for improved efficiency. • Maintain detailed and organized documentation of all accounts payable activities. • Support additional accounting functions as needed during the contract period. Requirements • Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or in a similar role. • Proficiency in accounting software systems, with Oracle experience being a plus. • Strong understanding of account coding, accrual accounting, and auditing processes. • Familiarity with ERP systems and automated clearing house (ACH) transactions. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to adapt to new systems and processes quickly. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for vendor and team collaboration. • All candidates required to undergo background screening prior to employment.
