Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join a respected non-profit organization in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this contract position, you will play a key role in managing financial transactions and clerical tasks to ensure smooth accounting operations. This opportunity is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounts receivable and a detail-oriented approach. Responsibilities: • Process checks and invoices accurately into the organization's accounting system. • Perform account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records. • Manage cash applications and resolve payment discrepancies. • Handle billing tasks with precision and efficiency. • Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry, reporting, and analysis. • Assist with general clerical duties related to accounting and finance. • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders regarding payment issues. • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures in all financial activities. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar accounting role. • Strong knowledge of account reconciliation and cash application processes. • Proficiency in billing operations and financial record-keeping. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. • Effective communication skills for collaborating with teams and clients. • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
