Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Waukesha, Wisconsin. In this role, you will handle key aspects of customer invoicing and payment processing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all transactions. This is a 100% onsite position within a casual and collaborative work environment. Responsibilities: • Accurately apply customer payments to corresponding invoices. • Prepare and issue customer invoices and account statements. • Maintain up-to-date and precise billing records. • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in payments or accounts. • Collaborate with internal teams to address billing-related inquiries. • Support month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable. • Ensure compliance with established accounting procedures and policies. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role. • Proficiency in account reconciliation, billing, and cash application processes. • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other accounting software. • Familiarity with commercial collections, though no direct collection calls are required. • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work effectively in a 100% onsite environment. • Strong communication and organizational skills.
