Administrative Assistant 1
Do you love talking to people, supporting office projects, and are highly dependable? Emerson has a great opportunity for a part-time Administrative Assistant I located in Novi, MI.    In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Prepare new employee files and process new hire documentation.  Prepare badges including replacement for all employees and temporary workforce. Update wage and labor tracking.  Maintain security badge system. Miscellaneous communication postings. Coordinate YVC action plans and activities for the site Support onboarding process for onsite employees (DAUT, Brandon, PWS and manage employee give-a-ways) Manage Velocity EHS portal for Hazards, Incidents and Actions.  Work with the Site Director on specific actions required. Coordinate monthly Safety Hour audits to assigned team members Coordinate monthly site EHS and Committee meetings and prepare presentations MRO ordering and receiving of items Support Management team by coordinating monthly meetings and presenting HR Metrics and Communications tracking for the site. Office and manufacturing environment. May be exposed to manufacturing plant conditions and elements including but not limited to noise, dust, dirt, oil, and grease. PPE’s may be required including safety glasses, ear plugs and safety shoes in specified areas of the plant.  While performing duties, may be required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, bend, twist or lift.
  Who You Are: You display a can-do attitude in good and bad times. You manage relationships across a variety of functions and locations. You identify and build the processes vital to get work done
  For This Role, You Will Need: 1 – 2 years’ experience preferred in administrative/clerical work. Computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office. Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
