Administrative Assistant
Description We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Austin, Texas. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels in organizational tasks, and is eager to support accounting and business operations. The position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to various administrative and marketing initiatives while maintaining a dynamic and efficient workspace. Responsibilities: • Coordinate and schedule meetings, ensuring all arrangements are handled efficiently. • Track and manage business expenses, maintaining accurate records and reports. • Organize and maintain filing systems, including both physical and digital documentation. • Assist with event planning and preparation, ensuring all logistics are managed. • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite to create presentations, documents, and spreadsheets. • Manage website updates and social media activity to enhance the company's online presence. • Handle IT-related administrative tasks, such as uploading content and troubleshooting basic issues. • Oversee mail handling, including checking mail and picking up packages as needed. • Support tenant-related tasks in a shared office space environment, ensuring smooth operations. • Provide general administrative assistance to the owner and business development team, including correspondence and follow-ups. Requirements • Proven experience in administrative support roles, preferably in a business or accounting environment. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to handle correspondence and customer inquiries. • Familiarity with social media and website management tools is a plus. • Ability to handle event planning and coordination with attention to detail. • Comfortable with basic IT troubleshooting and administrative tasks. • Detail-oriented demeanor and relevant experience suitable for a business environment.
