Advanced Business Development Advisor – Renewables & Low Carbon
Position Summary:
Renewables & Low Carbon Organization (“R&LC”) has a position open for an Advanced Business Development Advisor. This role liaises across several organizations and is responsible for initiating, leading, and advancing renewable commercial development activities including new business opportunities, strategic relationships, plant expansions and product placement strategies. The successful candidate will work with teams on optimal placement of renewable diesel, renewable naphtha and renewable jet fuel (SAF).
This position is part of a job family with multiple grade levels. The successful candidate will be placed at a level commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Job Responsibilities:
Collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders (Territory Managers, Traders, Schedulers, Business Development, etc.) to understand business needs, know constraints, identify opportunities, and justify proposed solutions. Provide value proposition analysis that combines commercial perspective with analytical skills.Negotiate storage and logistics contracts where applicable.Build and maintain strong commercial relationships with key external companies and contacts. Act as liaison between Business Development, Commercial, and other internal organizations and stakeholders.Collaborate with Commercial in support of biofuel sales and optimize long-term placements based on credit program values.Represent R&LC on cross organizational teams focused on evaluating, developing and executing new business opportunities, expansion of existing assets, and the purchase or sale of companies, assets or lines of business.Anticipate the impact of changing business, regulatory, and political actions on the business and/or our competitors; identifies, develops and directs actions accordingly.Key Skillsets and Attributes:
Ability to work independently using problem solving skills, analytics, creativity, and critical thinking.Commercially driven with an eye for identifying enhancement opportunities.Adept communicator able to ensure understanding across diverse responsibilities and experience.Highly organized; ability to move fluidly between multiple projects based on changing commercial and operational priorities.Collaborative and works well in a team environment.Apply strong leadership and project development skills.Education and Experience:
