We are seeking a proactive, highly motivated, and results-oriented underwriter to join the team.

The primary focus is to contribute to results-driven underwriting and to substantially and profitably increase the Affinity business portfolio in Brazil.

Main Responsibilities:

Lead the account underwriting process and generate new business opportunities by leveraging contacts with the commercial and regional teams; Analyze and assess technical insurability concerning exposures and coverages; Review the coverages offered depending on each proposal and be responsible for the necessary local and regional reports to ensure business continuity.

Academic Background:

Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related fields.

Technical Knowledge:

Familiarity with actuarial calculations related to underwriting or risk pricing, premiums, and claims in life insurance, credit insurance, mobile insurance, home insurance, extended warranty, and other Affinity products.Proven experience in insurance companies in the Affinity areas.A track record of working with insurance products, including development, pricing, and risk management.

Risk Assessment Skills:

Ability to conduct risk analyses and develop methodologies for insurance product pricing, as well as analyze financial P&L.

Communication and Presentation:

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively the results of analyses and product formulations to various stakeholders, including executive committees and non-actuarial personnel.Capacity to prepare reports and presentations that aid in decision-making.

Language:

Advanced proficiency in English and/or Spanish is required.
