This is a contingent position based upon contract award KBR is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team as an AI/ML Systems Engineer. This is a contingent hire for a full-time client facing position supporting a government agency. If you have a passion for systems engineering and the integration of new technologies such as AI/ML, this is the perfect opportunity to apply your expertise and contribute to impactful projects Key Responsibilities: + Develop and apply systems engineering products and analyses to support requirement development, acquisition, deployment, and sustainment of AI/ML capabilities. + Develop, deploy, and maintain AI and machine learning models using given datasets and customer requirements. + Test and develop machine learning that meet or exceed desired performance evaluation metrics. + Utilize understanding of the concepts of supervised and unsupervised learning, reinforcement learning, model evaluation metrics, and hyperparameter tuning. + Monitor model performance in production environments to ensure reliable, efficient, and scalable model performance. + Develop AI/ML concept plans, including requirements and conceptual planning. + Assist in the design and development of AI algorithms. + Conduct technology trade studies to research, analyze, and evaluate various options, documenting results to determine the best value solution for specific problems + Perform engineering investigations of considerable complexity to resolve technical issues + Review literature, patents, and current practices to inform solutions for assigned projects Qualifications: Required: + Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering Three (3) or more years of relevant IC or DoD financial experience + Minimum of eight (8) years of progressively complex systems design, acquisition, and test experience + TS/SCI with willingness to sit for a Poly Desired: + Master’s degree in systems or electrical engineering preferred. + Systems Engineering certification from INCOSE or DAWIA preferred. + 10 years of experience in AI/ML preferred Ready to Make a Difference?
