AML Compliance Analyst
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented AML Compliance Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis in San Antonio, Texas. In this role, you will focus on ensuring compliance with organizational risk standards, policies, and procedures while conducting thorough quality analyses. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong analytical skills who are passionate about maintaining regulatory integrity. Responsibilities: • Conduct detailed quality reviews to verify that compliance alerts have been appropriately addressed by analysts. • Evaluate and interpret risk standards, policies, and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. • Collect, analyze, and document data related to investigations, including Suspicious Activity Reports, Currency Transaction Reports, and Know Your Customer (KYC) information. • Review account and transaction data to identify patterns that may require further investigation. • Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and complete documentation of all relevant compliance information. • Utilize advanced research and analytical skills to process and interpret large volumes of data. • Ensure all findings are properly recorded to assist in potential investigations. • Stay updated on evolving regulatory requirements and compliance best practices. • Provide feedback to improve internal compliance processes and systems. Requirements • Proven experience in compliance, risk analysis, or a related field, preferably within AML or financial services. • Strong knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) principles, Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR), and KYC processes. • Excellent research and analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets. • Familiarity with regulatory standards and guidelines for financial institutions. • Strong attention to detail and ability to document findings with accuracy. • Proficiency in understanding and applying compliance policies and procedures. • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders. • Ability to adapt to changing regulations and maintain a proactive approach to compliance.
