How will you make an impact in this role?

The role of Analyst - Marketing (Marriott Portfolio & Special Projects) will be responsible for initiatives that span partner, portfolio and campaign management, with the capacity to be flexible and support new opportunities across the broader Product and Rewards team.   In this role, you’ll be tasked with driving loyalty and engagement within the existing Marriott Card portfolio through marketing campaigns. You will continually develop your analytical skills by preparing and analyzing monthly reports. Applicants for this role should possess a customer-centric mindset, and strong project and partner management skills.  Responsibilities include:  Marketing  Manage targeted engagement campaigns from strategy development through to creative execution and analysis. Collaborate with creative agencies to develop collateral driving customer engagement; also measuring downstream campaign performance to inform future actions.  Strategy & Analytics Support the development and execution of the portfolio strategy. Develop regular reports measuring the performance of key business metrics. Understand customer and competitive trends by carrying out periodic competitive and qualitative assessments and providing commentary on findings.   Project and Partner Management Act as a core contact for Marriott to help deliver on our joint marketing plan and goals. Collaborate with various internal and external partners to develop and implement value-added offers and communications. Work effectively across broader Amex teams to deliver enhanced efficiencies, processes, services and Cardmember experiences (Servicing, Legal, Compliance, Technologies, etc.). Support portfolio management tasks including invoicing, customer escalations, budgeting and more.  Qualifications: University Degree in Marketing / Business / Commerce with a minimum of 1-2 years of marketing or management work experience. Ability to work well in an autonomous environment with skillsets to juggle and prioritize concurrent initiatives. Demonstrates critical thinking and problem solving skills. Proven self-starter with the ability to take initiative, drive results and champion a project from conception through implementation and evaluation. Strong relationship management skills. Proven ability to analyze data sets related to financial performance of products/services/campaigns and recognize business opportunities. Proven ability to set priorities, with capacity to be flexible and adapt with new opportunities. Strong oral and written communication skills.
