If you’re an Analytics Manager, we have an exciting opportunity for you. The Analytics Manager guides the people and processes responsible for developing data process automation and analytics as well as plays a key role in Woodward's digital transformation journey. This role guides the team in identifying solutions in sprawling data sets and applying business acumen to convert those insights into strategic opportunities that target results. This role combines business acumen with a passion for applying data analytics to solving real-world problems to successfully drive Woodward's business into the future.
What You Will Be Doing
Leads a team of data analytics professionals to achieve the objectives of assigned responsibilities, driving a lean/continuous improvement climate. Builds and maintains data models, reporting systems, data automation and visualization tools that support key business decisions.Supports Woodward members in developing the skills needed for digital transformation including mentoring on new systems or processes, presenting live global trainings and documentation, as well as contributing to change management efforts.Develops and implements departmental standards to ensure quality, organizational expectations, and audit requirements.Effectively manages department resources through organizing, prioritizing, and distributing work assignments. At the same time, considers development opportunities of team members as assignments are madeResponsible for supporting business analysis activities for various strategic decisions, such as make vs. buy decisions, capital investment decisions, business opportunity decisions driven from commercial activities and in connection with the product life cycle, among others.What We Are Looking For
Bachelor's Degree required: data-related coursework a plusUS – Master's degree a plus5+ years experience with the following types of systems: ERP, data warehousing, reporting, visualization, workflow and/or robotics process automation required2-5 years substantive experience leading others requiredProject Management Professional (PMP) a plusApplication window is anticipated to close 30 days from original posting date.
