Our client in Carlsbad is a well-established athletic apparel manufacturer located in Carlsbad, known for developing high-quality, performance-driven products that inspire athletes worldwide. As part of their accounts payable team, you’ll play a key role in keeping their financial operations running smoothly and ensuring our vendor relationships remain strong.
What You’ll Be Doing:
+ Invoice Processing: Accurately and efficiently process invoices using SAP, ensuring all accounts payable activities are up-to-date.
+ Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor statements, investigating and resolving any discrepancies to maintain positive vendor relationships.
+ Payment Coordination: Assist with weekly payment runs, verifying all necessary approvals, and ensuring timely payments to vendors.
+ Team Collaboration: Partner closely with the accounting team, procurement team, and other departments to meet deadlines and improve processes.
+ System Management: Utilize SAP to manage all AP-related tasks, and look for opportunities to leverage technology for increased efficiency.
+ Documentation: Maintain organized and thorough AP records to ensure compliance and ease of audit.
Requirements
+ Experience: Minimum of 2 years in accounts payable roles, with hands-on experience in AP processes from invoice processing to payment reconciliation.
+ SAP Proficiency: Prior experience using SAP is a must. Familiarity with other ERP systems is a bonus but not required.
+ Tech-Savvy Mindset: You’re not just comfortable using technology—you thrive on finding ways to make it work smarter and more efficiently.
+ Attention to Detail: Accuracy is your middle name! You ensure everything aligns perfectly down to the penny.
+ Communication Skills: You’re clear, professional, and effective in your verbal and written communications with team members and vendors.
+ Organizational Mastery: With multiple invoices and deadlines to track, your ability to stay organized and prioritize is second to none.
