Our client in San Marcos, CA is looking for a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to ensure accurate vendor payments and efficient transaction processing for a growing organization. Responsibilities: As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you’ll: + Process invoices and verify documentation to ensure timely and accurate vendor payments. + Match purchase orders to invoices and reconcile accounts payable transactions as needed. + Research discrepancies and resolve issues with vendors while maintaining positive relationships. + Prepare and execute weekly payment runs, including wire transfers and check payments. + Manage and track vendor onboarding documentation, contracts, and compliance data. + Assist with month-end close activities, including expense accruals and reconciliations. + Maintain digital and physical documentation to ensure audit readiness. Requirements + 2–4 years of accounts payable experience, preferably in a manufacturing or related industry. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software (experience with ERP systems preferred). + Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively. + Familiarity with GAAP standards, vendor compliance, and reconciliation practices. + Excellent communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams.
