As an Associate based in Hong Kong, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including developing international growth strategies, assessing and planning new product and market entry, and conducting strategic business deep dives. As an Associate in the APAC Firmwide Strategy team, you will be part of a focused group of professionals working on projects that are critical to our business. You will collaborate with business leaders and senior management to develop solutions that enhance our global presence and contribute to the firm's growth.

Job responsibilities

Lead and get involved in initiatives/projects to resolve diverse problems identified by senior leaders at the bankApply structured problem-solving and design thinking to address top strategic prioritiesExecute creative analyses and provide insight to identify issues and arrive at recommendationsGather, synthesize, analyze and present data and findings (e.g., financial modeling, valuation)Perform competitor/industry research leveraging both public and non-public sourcesDevelop strategic presentations for both internal and external audiencesMonitor industry trends and share insightful reports and analyses with broader team and with senior executives

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Minimum of a Bachelor’s DegreeMinimum of 4 years of experience from a premier management consulting firm, investment bank (Mergers & Acquisitions, Coverage, Capital Markets), Equity Research, internal strategy groups, or venture capital/private equity or other relevant entrepreneurial backgroundsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint toolsExcellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills to effectively and confidently convey analysis and findingsOpenness to work in an environment of active developmental feedback from peersAbility to work well in cross-functional teams with strong interpersonal, leadership, and influencing skills
