Apprentice Accounts Payable Analyst

Catalent Swindon is pleased to offer a new opportunity for an Apprentice Accounts Payable Analyst to join our expanding Finance team. This role is ideal for individuals looking to begin a career in finance while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic, global organization committed to its ‘Patient First’ mission.
As part of this apprenticeship, the successful candidate will work towards the AAT Level 3 qualification, a nationally recognized entry-level certification in finance. This qualification provides a solid foundation for a future career in business or finance and can be further developed through Level 4 AAT or advanced professional qualifications such as CIMA, ACCA, or ACA.
The Role
The Apprentice Accounts Payable Analyst will support the Accounts Payable function by assisting with invoice verification, vendor communication, and document management. The role also involves working closely with the Shared Services team to support daily operations and month-end processes.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in verifying supplier invoice data and supporting month-end housekeeping activities.Request and follow up on statements from key vendors.Contact suppliers to obtain missing or duplicate documentation.Download and organize documents from customer portals.Accurately save and prepare documentation for processing.Provide general support to the Accounts Payable team on ad hoc tasks.The Candidate
Education & Experience:
GCSEs and/or A-Levels preferred.Previous work experience is beneficial but not essential.Skills & Attributes:
Strong numerical skills and a genuine interest in finance.Basic to intermediate Excel skills are advantageous.A methodical and accurate approach to problem-solving.Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).A professional and mature attitude suitable for a finance environment.This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience while studying, within a supportive and professional team environment.
