Job Description
We are seeking an Architectural Designer with over 5 years of experience in a commercial design setting. The role requires proficiency in Revit for producing construction document sets and a strong design orientation, making a portfolio essential. You will be part of the mission-critical studio, contributing to innovative architectural solutions.
ResponsibilitiesCreate and modify architectural documents and perform routine tasks.Occasionally undertake higher-level assignments for training purposes.Attend site visits, field reviews, and meetings to gather project requirements.Assist in preparing proposals and presentations, ensuring effective communication with team members, vendors, and contractors.Participate in team meetings to discuss project issues and develop an understanding of accounting principles, budgets, and fees.Be aware of client relationships and business development opportunities, and assist with marketing presentations.Engage in client coordination, dedicating 75% of time to production and 25% to client interactions.Essential SkillsProficiency in Revit and the ability to produce construction document sets.Experience in architectural design and commercial construction.Strong skills in construction administration and design development.Ability to create construction drawings and documentation.Understanding of base building experience and healthcare design.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor of Science in Architecture preferred.Pursuing architectural licensure.Basic understanding of codes and ADA regulations.Client interfacing skills and ability to maintain professional relationships.3+ years of experience in relevant fields.Work Environment
The work environment offers a flexible schedule with a mix of office and remote work (typically 3 days remote). During the first 30 days, new employees are encouraged to work in the office for 4+ days to acclimate to the firm and team dynamics. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.84 - $36.00/hr.
