What a day at EXP has in store for you

Lead the development of presentation documents and make design presentations to Clients. Prepare construction documents in coordination with multi-discipline project team of architects, engineers and consultants. Communicate and work in coordination with and oversight of the architect and senior program manager. Quality control work before submitting to manager as complete. Meet with product vendors to review specific products to be incorporated into the projects. Perform code reviews and meet independently with local code officials to review and determine specific local code requirements and project compliance. Perform bid phase and construction phase tasks including site visits, review of shop drawings, responding to requests for information, and issuing clarifications.

 

The Skills, Knowledge and Abilities We Seek

Degree in architecture required from an architecturally accredited university. Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree strongly preferred. Minimum 3 years experience in architecture preferred. An enthusiastic desire to learn and work in a collaborative team environment Detail-oriented with the ability to research to provide options and solutions Must have a cursory knowledge of all phases of architectural practice. Must be proficient with AutoCAD & Revit.  Proficiency in Sketchup, Photoshop and other imaging and rendering software preferred. Registered with NCARB Intern Development and AXP program with a pathway toward architectural registration. Must be willing and able to travel to other office and project locations with the oversight of a Project Leader / Manager.

The pay range for this role is  $60,000-$75,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
