Start your new career as an Engine Assembler with MAU at Rolls-Royce Solutions in Graniteville, SC. As an Engine Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting engine components and systems to ensure quality and performance standards are met.
What We Offer: Health Benefits 401k Rewards Program Opportunity for Advancement Sign-on bonus What We’re Looking For: High School Diploma or GED 2 years of experience in mechanical, engine, or automotive trade school OR Associate degree OR 3 years of experience in durable goods assembly or manufacturing Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, engine systems, tools, and quality control Ability to read and interpret blueprints, control plans, and build documents Understanding of OSHA safety standards Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and teamwork skills Basic PC, math, and communication skills Willingness to work any shift and overtime as needed Familiarity with MTU products, procedures, and marine engine systems – preferred Statistical Process Control (SPC) knowledge – preferred Ability to obtain power vehicle license (Flatbed, Hi-Lo, Mule) - preferred What You’ll Do as an Engine Assembler: Align and position engine components manually or with hoists Install piping, wiring, fixtures, and electrical components Rework, repair, or replace damaged parts Interpret blueprints and specifications to plan assembly Verify part alignment and tolerances using calipers, gauges, and micrometers Maintain and lubricate mechanical parts Assemble gear systems and inspect/test completed engines Maintain clean and safe work environment Support continuous improvement by identifying non-value-added activities Collaborate with team leaders and assist in other production areas as needed Promote compliance and uphold the Rolls-Royce Code of Conduct
