This position will be responsible for Underwriting new ABL transactions while also working closely with Asset Based Lending (ABL) Originations, Portfolio Management, and Capital Markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial statement analysis and collateral evaluation, preparation of various projection scenarios, identification of key risks and mitigants, scrutinize business models, assess industry and market concerns and trends, and completion of risk rating and profitability models.Prepare and analyze cash flows and produce enterprise value analysis when necessary.Participate in due diligence calls and meetings, in person or online.Contribute to the preparation of deal screens and term sheets as needed by Originations.Negotiate legal documentation with counsel and prospect.Work with Portfolio Management to complete the closing process.Complete other related duties as assignedQualifications
4+ years as an ABL or Commercial Credit Underwriter or like positionStrong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to express ideas in an organized and articulate manner.Proactive, detail-oriented, and proven ability to work independently on multiple projects.Demonstrated problem-solving skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Bachelor’s degree requiredSchedule & Work Hours
