You’ll lead the monthly close, support forecasting and budgeting, ensure strong internal controls, and provide financial insight that supports strategic decision-making. If you’re ready to take the next step in your finance leadership journey and help shape the future of a landmark property — this is your moment. **Our ideal Assistant Director of Finance:** What we're looking for: + Sustained and proven leadership experience in a similar quality, five-star, lifestyle, high volume environment + A strong leader, who can demonstrate success in all aspects of performance measures + A true innovator with a dynamic approach to overcome barriers and challenge the norm to enhance the operation and improve performance + Positive outlook and great hospitality skills accompanied with a high attention to detail As our new Assistant Director of Finance, you will be responsible for: + Effectively managing the day to day operation of the Finance Department to execute finance and accounting responsibilities for the Hotel. + Provide strong technical expertise and direction to support the Hotel performance in regards to operating budget, forecasts and financial reporting. + Leverage both your own team and other departments to ensure appropriate controls are in place to manage business risks + The development and retention of a highly motivated and diverse team that can make a positive impact on the business + Leading from the front, setting the example of great hospitality, guest interaction and associate engagement + Balanced Scorecard Results: Supports strategies and conducts activities to drive financial results, guest satisfaction, human capital index and market share. + Financial and Accounting Management: Provides assistance to the DOF in developing the annual business plan, budgets, forecasts, financial reports, tax compliance, and profit and loss statements.
