The Assistant Operations Manager is expected to bring hands-on experience from the construction, demolition, or environmental services industry and step confidently into a leadership capacity. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, safety-conscious, and eager to contribute both in the field and from a strategic standpoint. Responsibilities: Assist in scheduling and dispatching field crews, coordinating necessary equipment and materials for project execution.Support project planning, site mobilization, daily operations, and job closeout activities.Monitor job sites regularly to ensure safety compliance, work quality, and adherence to project specifications.Help ensure compliance with EPA, OSHA, DOT, and other regulatory requirements.Act as a liaison between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to facilitate smooth project flow.Track and report project progress and key performance indicators.Train and mentor new field personnel, promoting consistent adherence to protocols and quality standards.Oversee equipment operations, including maintenance, repairs, and coordination with mechanics. Qualifications and Requirements:Minimum of 5 years' experience in asbestos abatement, demolition, construction, or environmental fieldwork.Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and safety standards.Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.Ability to read and understand blueprints, site plans, and technical documentation.Asbestos Supervisor Certification and OSHA 30 preferred (or willingness to obtain).Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and reliable transportation.Must be drug-free and physically capable of assisting with hands-on work as needed. Benefits and Perks:Medical, Vision, Dental available 401K Retirement PlanAflac Supplemental Insurance OptionsPaid Personal Time Off (PTO) Your New Organization:As an Assistant Operations Manager, you will thrive in fast-paced, hands-on environments where every day brings a new challenge. You will take pride in coordinating field crews, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring jobs are completed efficiently, safely, and on schedule. This role is both demanding and rewarding, balancing time in the field with planning and logistics to keep operations running smoothly.  Your Career Partner:The Reserves Network, a veteran-founded and family-owned company, specializes in connecting exceptional talent with rewarding opportunities.
