UTHealth Houston Division of Hematology/Oncology in conjunction with Memorial Hermann Hospital is recruiting for an academic Assistant/Associate Professor to serve as full-time faculty, focusing on Breast Oncology at Memorial Hermann Hospital - TMC at the Memorial Hermann Cancer Center and satellite clinics in the Houston area.  Please note that UTHealth Houston Hematology/Oncology does not have a Bone Marrow Transplant program or CAR-T cell therapy program at this time.

Position Key Accountabilities: 

The position involves building a robust clinical program in collaboration with the UTHealth Houston faculty and the Memorial Hermann Cancer Center. The position involves inpatient and outpatient clinical care, education, and research that aligns with the mission of McGovern Medical School and UT Health Houston. The Division of Hematology/Oncology benefits from an association with the Memorial Hermann Hospital System. Selected candidates will be members of established clinical and translational research programs within the Memorial Hermann Cancer Center.

Qualifications:

Texas Medical License or be eligible for a Texas Faculty Temporary License

Board-certified or eligible in hematology/oncology.

Strong clinical training and experience in all current treatment modalities
