The Role
As an Assistant Project Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be embedded within one of our key programme or project teams and be integral to achieving high-performance delivery to our customers.
Day-to-day, you’ll undertake various functions including scheduling, cost control, risk management and procurement alongside working with stakeholders from across the team, and wider business, to help drive delivery momentum and achieve the project goals. As part of your role in Mission Systems we are looking for someone who can collaborate with a variety of functional teams across multiple discipline areas.
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides flexible hybrid working arrangements with 3 days onsite and 2 days working from home.

Qualifications for the Assistant Project Manager
Project Fundamentals Qualification and/or Project Management Qualification or equivalent (desirable) other formal qualifications acceptable.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. However, the successful candidate will be eligible to start on Standard (BPSS) security clearance but will need to obtain Security Check (SC) security clearance once in post.
