We’re looking for a proactive and detail-driven Assistant Project Manager with a construction background to support the delivery of complex, multi-year projects for a key public sector defence client in Perth.
You’ll be central to project documentation, quality assurance, and client coordination—ensuring accuracy, compliance, and service excellence from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate records of project milestones and documentation throughout the project lifecycle Manage technical document coding and filing in line with client structures and standards Respond to RFIs, document queries, and status updates with professionalism and efficiency Prepare meeting agendas and minutes, supporting strong relationships with clients and stakeholders Assist with project close-out and contribute to broader coordination and administrative tasks What You’ll Bring Sound expereince as Assistant Project Management within the construction or building services industry Understanding of building systems, NCC, and basic contract law Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with project or ERP systems Certificate IV in Construction or related qualification (preferred) Strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a collaborative approach Why BGIS?
