Associate Manager AWS FinOps
Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Manager AWS FinOps to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in AWS cloud services, financial operations, and cost management practices. This role is crucial to optimizing our cloud expenditures, ensuring cost efficiency, and driving financial transparency across our cloud infrastructure. Responsibilities Partner I&O Product Management to drive insights and rigor in the cloud financial insight space Partner with I&O Cloud Operations & Architecture to provide insights to pattern usage and consumption that help with overall understanding of the cloud space Accountable for defining and implementing I&O Product Managment and Cloud Transparency process and procedures that drive transparency and cost insight to the use of IT services offered. Provide technological, functional, contractual and Financial understanding of IT products offered to PepsiCo stakeholder to help with decision making on selection and usage patterns Payment of vendor invoices and good receipt process in accordance with PepsiCo Financial Operations Budget, Forecasting of monthly spend that support I&O Leadership, S&T Strategy and S&T Financials Provide insights and recommendations to right-sizing, Ris, cost savings or other cost optimization recommendations to Cloud Operations Assist in setting up Cloud Financial transparency tool (Flexera, Cloudability, other) to asure alignment between I&O Product Management, I&O Cloud Operations and S&T Finance Provide insights and feedback to S&T Vendor Management and I&O Product Team that help drive vendor governance and product insight to product/cloud uptake and consumption patters. Implement, capture and report on consumption patterns of usage and recovery (Cross Charges) to support and provide inputs into Budgets and AOP Cycles. Partner on financial forecasting; operational budgets and Productivity Objectives Make and influence technical, financial and business decisions based on data and transparency of consumption patterns and usage Develop opportunities for cross-team effectiveness and remove organisational barriers for strong teamwork, collaboration, and excellent service delivery Help assure data quality in systems of record are verified for the purposed of transparency and ease of access to help build trust in the services I&O Cloud Services Delivers Generate communication and educational materials that help PepsiCo stakeholders understand cloud usage and financial operations Be the primary liaison between I&O Cloud Operations and S&T Finance explain cloud usage and cost structures Qualifications Minimum 10 Y of experience 5+ year of general Finance or cloud expense Mgt experience (Large IT footprint, foutune 500 enterprise) 5+ years of experience in IT expense management and cost containment 2+ years of experience in running and leveraging TBM Methdology or cloud FinOps Tool (Flexera, Cloudability, etc.) at scale Experience working across the large organizations, ideally with multi-country or global experience Experience with Financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting and cost transparency Strong Communication Skills/Able to Persuade/Influence Others at all Organization Levels and the ability foster lasting partnerships Strong attention to detail and ability to managed large data sets. Strong Financial acumen or prior financial experience a plus Strong use of data analytic, Excel or PowerBI skill Differentiating Competencies Required - Strong understanding of technical set-up Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS, Google, etc.) space -Technical aptitude Ability to be hands on in both Financial systems (S4 HANA and Native Cloud Platforms) and be willing to explore and create value from data sets Ability to report large data sets back to operational, IT Leadership and IT Finance to help drive engagement – analytical mindset Ability to explain highly complex cost structure and make-up I&O Services Strong Financials understanding related to budget, forecasting, pre-paid services and amortization of large IT spends and impacts to financial treatment.
