Associate Software Quality Engineer

The Red Hat Engineering team is seeking a Associate Quality Engineer to join the OpenShift Cluster Manager team in Brazil. Cluster Lifecycle is responsible for provisioning and life-cycling Managed OpenShift services on AWS, GCP, and Azure.
In this role, you will be responsible and accountable for maintaining the quality of our Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform cloud services. You will need to have excellent technical and communication skills, as you'll work closely with developers and Site Reliability Engineers within Red Hat and the open-source community.
**What you will do:**
+ Contribute to the development of detailed test plans, test cases, and test reports.
+ Execute functional, integration, regression, performance, and scalability tests for OpenShift using open-source tools.
+ Develop and maintain test automation scripts using Golang (preferred) or Python, and analyze test results.
+ Implement automation tools as needed.
+ Work effectively in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment. Proactively communicate with stakeholders across teams to implement improvements.
+ Assist in identifying potential problems and contribute to timely solutions.
+ Actively suggest and implement improvements to the testing workflow.
+ Collaborate within a global team, embracing diversity and cultural differences.
**What you will bring:**
+ 1-2 years of professional experience as a Quality Engineer.
+ 1-2 years of experience working in a Linux environment.
+ Experience with Golang or Python.
+ Basic understanding of cloud testing concepts (AWS preferred).
+ Familiarity with container-related technologies (Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.).
+ Basic proficiency with Bash.
+ Understanding of CI/CD concepts.
+ Ability to troubleshoot and perform basic root cause analysis.
+ Familiarity with agile testing methodologies.
**Nice to Have:**
+ Knowledge of OpenShift.
+ Familiarity with DevOps or SRE principles.
+ Exposure to monitoring and dashboarding tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
+ Experience with virtualization and distributed systems.
