Associate Systems Engineer, V&V (Hybrid)

Position Overview: 
The Associate Systems V&V Engineer is a member of the Systems Engineering COE and will be responsible for Systems Engineering activities related to verification and validation of Insulet’s products.  

The position will report to the Systems Design Verification Manager, located at Insulet’s Headquarters in Acton, MA.  
   
Responsibilities:   

Develop, review, and maintain test strategies, test protocols, test cases, test reports and traceability matrices for system verification.  

Report defects found during testing, assist in root cause analysis and verify defect fixes.  

Executes test cases during integration testing and formal system testing according to test plans and procedures 

Participate in Technical Reviews and Design Reviews 

Co-ordinate with Systems Engineering to ensure that requirements are testable and appropriately leveled for verification with component level test teams (Hardware/Software) 

Co-ordinate with project leads to plan and execute project goals 

Responsible for the validation of tools  
 

Education and Experience:  

Bachelors’ Degree in Biomedical Engineering or an engineering related field.  

0-2 years experience in software testing, system testing and/ product testing in a multidisciplinary project team environment 

Experience with automation testing is preferred. 

Good written and verbal communication skills 
 

Preferred Skills and Competencies:   

Experience working with requirements management tool (Helix, Jama, and/or Polarion), quality management system, test case management tool, defect management tool is preferred  

Test Engineering training and/or certification is a plus  

Sound knowledge of engineering first principals  

Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills  

Previous experience working in medical devices or similar regulated environments

Additional Information:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $64,875.00 - $97,312.50. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
