Description Robert Half is looking for a skilled and motivated Litigation Attorney to join one of our top clients in San Diego, California! They even have dogs in the office! This Contract-to-long-term position offers an excellent opportunity to work on challenging cases, collaborate with talented professionals, and grow your litigation expertise. Ideal candidates will have strong experience in drafting legal documents, managing discovery processes, and conducting document reviews, with a background in business litigation or construction defect cases being an added advantage. Responsibilities: • Draft and file a variety of legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, and motions. • Manage and respond to discovery requests, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Conduct thorough document reviews to support litigation strategies. • Provide clients with legal guidance and strategic advice tailored to their needs. • Represent clients during hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings. • Collaborate with the legal team to develop case strategies and ensure successful outcomes. • Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations to maintain compliance and provide informed counsel. • Effectively manage case files and ensure all deadlines are met. Requirements • Possess 2-3 years of litigation experience, with a strong understanding of the legal process. • Demonstrated expertise in drafting briefs, discovery responses, and conducting document reviews. • Experience in business litigation or construction defect cases is preferred but not required. • Exceptional communication, research, and organizational skills. • Active license to practice law in the state of California. • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
