Description We are looking for a skilled and motivated Attorney to join our boutique firm in Miami, Florida. Our practice specializes in bankruptcy, corporate reorganization, and complex commercial litigation, offering an excellent opportunity for a mid-level associate with 3–7 years of experience to contribute to challenging and impactful cases. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with partners and team members on business restructuring, reorganization, insolvency, and litigation cases. • Take a lead role in managing complex case assignments and ensure timely progression of legal matters. • Conduct thorough legal research and draft high-quality briefs, motions, and other legal documents. • Represent clients in court proceedings, including contested hearings and trials. • Handle depositions by taking and defending them effectively, ensuring strong case strategies. • Communicate professionally with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to provide clear updates and legal advice. • Manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. • Participate in trial teams and contribute to the preparation of legal arguments and case strategies. • Stay current on legal developments in bankruptcy and commercial litigation to provide informed counsel. • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements in the course of practice. Requirements • A minimum of 3 years of experience in restructuring/reorganization or complex commercial litigation. • Strong understanding of bankruptcy law, with eagerness to expand knowledge if needed. • Proven ability to conduct legal research, write persuasive arguments, and articulate positions effectively. • Experience with court appearances, contested hearings, and depositions is preferred. • Active license to practice law in the state of Florida. • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks under pressure. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client and team interactions. • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and handle significant responsibility.
