Transdev in Lakewood, Washingtonis seeking a Level -1 Automotive Mechanic to bolster our team. This role demands expertise in diagnosing,repairing,andmaintainingAutomotiveenginesacrossvariousvehiclesandequipment.AsanAutomotiveMechanic, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring safety, efficiency, and longevity for our vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
+ Performrepairs andreplacementsonAutomotiveengines,ensuringoptimal functionality.
+ AssistLevel IIIandLevel IIMechanicsinadvanceddiagnosticandrepairtasks,contributingtoefficient workflow.
+ Executeroutine maintenance taskstopreventbreakdowns.
+ Leaddiagnosticteststoaccuratelyidentifycomplexissuesanddeterminecomprehensiverepairstrategies.
+ Performadvancedtroubleshootingandrepairtasks,includingoverhaulingandrebuilding components to required specifications.
+ Otherduties, to include supporting the vehicle refueling operationasrequired.
Qualifications:
+ 1-3 yearsofexperience asa AutomotiveMechanic.
+ ASEcertificationspreferred;ASEcertificationprogramprovided
+ Mechanic’sToolSet
+ Mustbe able toworkshifts orflexible workschedulesasneeded.
+ SubjecttoaDOTdrugtestingandphysical.DOTRegulation49CFRPart40doesnot authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
+ Ability to obtain a DOT medical certification and maintain it active while employed. Company pays for DOT medical certification and annual renewals.

+ Pushandpullobjectsupto50pounds,occasionallythroughouttheworkday;liftmaterialweighingupto 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to reach equipment stored or operated at ground level
+ Withstandheavytrafficareaswhileperformingthedutiesofthejob;tolerateexposuretodust, vehicle fumes and noise.
