Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a BIM Technician and engage in 3D modeling using Revit to prepare BIM models for new and existing electrical systems within commercial buildings. This role involves coordinating electrical systems with Architectural, Structural, HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems through weekly coordination meetings. Additionally, you will create pre-fab drawings for field installation using AutoCAD.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop 3D BIM models for electrical systems using Revit.Coordinate electrical systems with various building systems such as Architectural, Structural, HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection.Participate in weekly coordination meetings to ensure seamless integration of systems.Create pre-fabrication drawings for field installation using AutoCAD.Essential SkillsProficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.Strong computer skills.Experience in electrical design and drafting.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Navisworks is beneficial.Prior experience in electrical drafting is a plus.Work Environment
The work environment includes collaboration on projects such as hospitals and power plants. You will join a team with one other BIM modeler and work closely with the pre-fabrication department. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.
