Flynn Group of Companies is currently looking for an Branch/Purchasing Administrator to support our Vancouver Branch located in Surrey, BC (Office Location - 19175 - 22nd Avenue, Surrey BC V3Z 3S6), reporting to the Accounting Manager. A Day In The Life Opening and/or closing branch on a daily basisKeeping reception area safe, clean and organizedGreeting visitors, ensuring sign-in procedures are followed, and notifying office staff of their arrivalCoordinating booking of all boardrooms for meetings/training and coordinating lunch orders or cateringAssisting the IT department with computer and telephone hardware setups for new hiresOrdering and organizing office supplies, printer supplies, company forms/stationary and business cardsOrdering coffee/breakroom supplies and keeping them organized, coordinating with coffee service companyOrganizing incoming/outgoing mail and distributing accordingly as well as company faxes via emailCoordinating incoming/ outgoing courier deliveries and distributing accordinglyManaging and updating employee directories and branch phone listsHandling all other miscellaneous enquires and directing them to the appropriate staff and/or managerOther administrative duties as requiredIssuing purchase orders as requested by project management TeamProcessing vendor and subcontract invoices based on the POs issued, matching quoted pricing, taxes and quantities received from POs to invoices.Generating WorkSafe BC clearance letters and submitting as required for subcontractorsObtaining certificates of insurance and submitting as required for subcontractorsCompleting/closing open purchase orders when fulfilledManaging missing PO queue for the branchOther accounts payable duties as requiredWhat We Offer Competitive wages and benefits RRSP MatchingGreat environment where our motto is "Flynn Family Winning Together!"On-going career development programs through our in-house Flynn University and eLearning coursesWhat We Are Seeking Minimum 2 year of previous administration experienceStrong customer service and communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skills, pleasant and professional phone manner Excellent computer skills in the Microsoft office package; Word, Excel, Outlook & TeamsStrong time management skillsAbility to multitask, prioritize and work in a fast paced, team environmentStrong problem-solving abilities Position Summary Location: Vancouver, BCEmployment Type: Office, Salaried, Full-timeJob Functions: Admin & PurchasingIndustry: Building Envelope$50,000 - $55,000 a year
