Responsible for outreach to existing microbusiness (<$500M in gross annual revenue) customers as well as prospective microbusiness clients through virtual and/or remote channels. Utilize digital resources and other technology to solicit new business; learn to manage risk and credit decisions; and service existing clients in remote geographies through the bank’s relationship management program, as required. Work closely with local branch partners to effectively sell to the business customer and cross-sell other bank products.

Primary Responsibilities:Develop new virtual banking relationships with business prospects through outbound calling. Service existing business banking client base, as needed. Achieve established goals as outlined by manager.Collaborate with partners to maximize sales efforts to microbusiness customers and cross-sell other products and services that the bank offers.Identify opportunities for relationship-deepening or improved service that contributes to customer retention and relationship expansionMaintain customer-centric perspective and tailor sales efforts to reduce frictions in the microbusiness space Communicate frequently and proactively with potential and existing customers using a variety of technologies including Web-Ex, video, phone and other provided solutions. Emphasize needs analysis and customized product solutions. Evaluate credit information and requests and recommend appropriate loan structure to manage risk. Effectively negotiate with underwriters and clients to maximize revenue and minimize risk.Actively participate in all business banking and retail sales campaigns. Achieve call targets and other product sales goals such cash management, merchant services, Business Credit Card and others as assigned. Utilize Business First sales process to maximize sales opportunities.Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Education and Experience Required:Bachelor’s degree or in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 4 years of higher education and/or relevant work experience Proficient with virtual meeting platforms and related technology
Experience Preferred:
