We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Business Development Managerto join a leading Company located in theNorfolk, VAsurrounding area.
Job Responsibilities:
+ To present the company's services to existing and potential commercial customers, to obtain commercial preventive maintenance agreements, service repairs and replacement sales that are competitive and profitable.
+ Meet with existing and potential customers to identify needs, problems then provide solutions.
+ Utilize effective sales techniques, including networking and cold calling to develop new accounts, for commercial preventive maintenance agreements, service, retrofit and replacement business.
+ Provide a capital replacement budget to all existing clients.
+ Convert leads into opportunities, track leads through a Sales Process.
+ Provide detailed proposals to clients.
+ Build and maintain strong customer relationships with existing and new customers.
+ Keep up to date on current trade equipment and technology offerings! Meet sales revenue and sales margin goals.
+ Team attitude, ambition, drive and commitment to advance the best practices in the industry.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
+ 3-5 years sales experience in commercial HVAC.
+ Commercial HVAC knowledge preferred.
+ Computer skills; Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
+ Ability to fill out spreadsheets to create estimates.
+ Ability to write detailed proposals.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Proven track record of building and expanding customer base.
+ Business development and marketing skills.
+ Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
+ Ability to pass drug test and background screening.
