Caterpillar’s Strategic Procurement & Planning Division (SPPD) has an open Accountant position. SPPD is an end-to-end, synchronized organization, developing and deploying tools necessary to achieve operational excellence. With a mission to connect the physical and digital worlds of Caterpillar’s supply value chain to maximize our competitive advantage, SPPD is transforming the way we do business.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the global direct material forecasting and actual processes as directed by management.

Education and Experience: 4-year degree, preferably in accounting, finance or business-related degree with 3+ years of relative experienceAccuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.Managing Multiple Priorities: Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.Top Candidates Will Also Have:

This position can be located in Peoria, IL or Irving, TX.This role requires 5 days a week in the office.Domestic relocation is available for those who qualify.Sponsorship is not available.Domestic travel up to 5%.Summary Pay Range:
$95,640.00 - $143,520.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
