Our Client, a Materials Engineering company, is looking for a Buyer for their Austin, TX location. Hours are 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday. Responsibilities: + Perform business related direct purchasing like spares and parts, need to understand our product and be familiar with tools. + Create PO according to supplier LT and approved prices and provide latest drawing & BOM to supplier (SCV/SIX) + Managing supplier order delivery schedule and have timely schedule update in SAP. + Uses existing order management Process/ procedures on supplier delivery tracking/ECN implementation/FAI process/outstanding GR & IR follow up. + Coordinates purchasing activities with manufacturing and engineering departments to maintain inventory at planned levels. + Works with engineering and MPM or SCM to recommend new suppliers.
