As a Qualcomm Software Application Engineer, you will provide technical expertise of software systems through technical presentations in support of business development, product demonstrations, design and development of customer specific requirements, commercialization, and maintenance of Qualcomm products. OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience. • 2+ years of experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. • 1+ year of experience with debugging techniques. **Responsibilities** : + Proficient in coding with C/C++ and debugging skills required + Experience in Multimedia software development engineering for Linux based embedded systems. + Experiences on Linux Android/Embedded development area for Camera stability, performance, power and memory optimization and Image Signal Processing. + Experience in customer support and feature customization for customers. + Good knowledge of Linux/Android OS, multi-thread, data structures and basic algorithms. + Good understanding of hardware blocks – Camera AP, ISP, MIPI CSI and their SW architecture for porting and debugging in Linux Kernel, Device Driver Model + Collaborates with customers and team members throughout project life cycle to design, develop, and optimize camera software. + Strong communication skills - able to understand and explain highly technical information in a clear and concise manner. + English email skill. **Qualifications** : + Proficiency in C/C++/STL/Python programming. + Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Prior experience with Qualcomm Camera Architecture (CamX) is a big plus **Applicants** : Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
