The Cardiac Sonographer responsibilities and skills: 

Serves as a member of the Cardiology TeamEngage in the conduct and performance of Cardiac Ultrasound / Doppler diagnostic testingRequired to assist the physician and other related healthcare professionals in these technical areas and is responsible for all aspects of clinical supportFunction independently with minimal supervision.

 

Requirements:  

Required BLS (Basic Life Support)Required RDCS (Sonography) - within 1 year; Or - RCS (Sonography) - within 1 yearRequired education - Technical specialize in cardiovascular technology/ sonography/ ultrasound fieldHighly preferred 1 year of Echocardiography experience
