Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to primarily work in Wallingford, CT, with the flexibility to float to other locations as needed. This role involves auditing medical data and communicating results to patients through electronic chart systems or telephonically. The nurse will not deliver diagnoses but will provide essential follow-up information and support.
ResponsibilitiesCollect and manage laboratory data efficiently.Provide patients with follow-up steps and support as necessary.Conduct advanced telephone triage functions and participate in research activities.Act as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication.Maintain accurate records and documentation to uphold high standards of care.Monitor and order necessary supplies to ensure smooth operations.Perform quality assurance (QA) functions as directed.Assist with the orientation and training of new personnel and clinical staff.Essential SkillsActive RN license.1+ years of experience in a relevant field (entry-level candidates who demonstrate strong potential may be considered).BLS & ACLS certifications are mandatory.Proficiency in electronic health records and medical review processes.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with EMR systems is highly desirable.Work Environment
You will work in a fast-paced cardiology office that is family-oriented but can be very busy at times. The role offers a structured schedule with no weekend or holiday shifts, ensuring a balanced work-life experience.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
