Effectively assist physicians in performing a variety of highly specialized Cardiovascular procedures including, but not limited to, diagnostic and interventional catheterization, pacemaker/defibrillator implantation, intra-aortic balloon pump operation (IABP), and electrophysiology studies. Qualifications: In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: + High School Diploma/G.E.D required. + Experience in invasive cardiovascular technology, preferred. + Cardiac diagnostic/interventional procedural experience, preferred. + Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association. + Must obtain within 18 months: RCIS through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), Or RCES, Or ARRT with post primary certification of Cardiac Interventional Radiography through the ARRT. + Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire. At Holy Cross Hospital – Salt Lake, the Cardiovascular Services department is made up of the Cardiac Cath Lab, Echocardiography, EKG and Cardiac Rehab. The patient population is a combination of lower income, underserved population and outreach rural communities surrounding Salt Lake City, including Idaho, Wyoming, and Nevada. Cardiology is a tight knit group that considers each other family. There is strong bond within the staff and physicians and an overarching sense of teamwork, pride and loyalty on this team.
