Experienced RNs: Casual and/or Limited Casual position available for nurses with 1+ years of experience About UPMC Shadyside: A 4x Magnet-designated teaching hospital and center of ongoing, cutting-edge research and education. Flexible Shifts: A minimum of 30 shifts are required to be worked each year, or 36 hours are required to be worked within 6 weeks 

About 3 Pavilion:

3 Pavilion is a medical teaching unit designed to provide specialized care for patients with complex medical needs, particularly those requiring cardiac monitoring and stroke management. The emphasis on team-oriented care, hands-on experience with various medical devices (such as chest tubes, feeding tubes, and tracheostomies), and a supportive learning environment designed for nurses can develop both their clinical skills and teamwork abilities. The focus on teaching and leadership fosters a strong environment for professional growth. 

High-Acuity Patients: Patients on this unit require staff members who are highly motivated, encouraging, and driven to provide patients with the best possible experiences and outcomes. Career Advancement: UPMC Shadyside Hospital is connected physically to Hillman Cancer Center which is the main center of all cancer care within the UPMC system.  Fast-Paced Teamwork: Our Registered Nurses work rotation shifts including weekends and holidays to ensure 24/7 coverage on the floor.
