Position Summary:

Assists research staff in basic to moderately complex tasks to support research initiatives and activities.

Position Key Accountabilities:

\tHandles general inquiries and collects and processes paperwork related to study participants and research data collection.\tSchedules study participants for interviews, educational training sessions, or clinical testing/physicals.\tConducts phone surveys with study participants.\tPrepares documents and collection kits for field data collection activities.\tAssists in the preparation of graphs, tables, study reports and presentation materials.\tMay assist in data entry.\tPerforms other duties as assigned.

Certification/Skills:

Minimum Education:

High school diploma required. Must be currently enrolled or will be enrolled in Bachelor’s Degree Program or higher.

Minimum Experience:

None.

Physical Requirements:

Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently and/or a negligible amount constantly to move objects.

Security Sensitive:

This job class may contain positions that are security sensitive and thereby subject to the provisions of Texas Education Code § 51.215

Residency Requirement:

Employees must permanently reside and work in the State of Texas.
