Job Summary:
The leader is responsible for the overall success of this programs vertical. The leader will manage existing programs and identify new program opportunities. This leader will have excellent communication skills and attention to detail when executing and managing program opportunities.
Responsibilities:
● Manage Programs to acceptable level of profitability
● Create New Program Opportunity submissions
● Work with Carrier and Reinsurance partners to secure new programs for the group
● Manage full policy life cycle workflows to ensure success
● Assist carrier partners with necessary program updates and improvements
● Assist Underwriting team members with program requirements
Requirements:
● Strong underwriting acumen
● In depth knowledge of policy form structure and rating methodology
● Data Analytics and structuring of key metrics
● Ability to manage premium growth to profitable loss ratios
● Ability to manipulate data effectively within Excel
Education/Experience:
● 10 Years commercial underwriting or Program management experience
● CPCU or alternative designation preferred
● Worked directly with carrier partners and direct report staff
